Online Poker updates 15.06
June 15, 2010 by admin
Organizers of the World Series of Poker see that the attendance of this fascinating event is exceeding all optimistic expectations in spite of such negative factors as economic problems. Last year the WSOP in Las Vegas has been attended by 61000 players. Based on the results of the early events, these totals hopefully will be exceeded this year. First 3 $10000 buy-in events drew 5% more players this year, and Event 17 – $5000 No Limit Hold’ em attracted 792 players, which is increase of more than 20%. We hope this great success will go on and wish all players good luck! Brunson and Obrestad argue on public.
Doyle Brunson is involved in a public battle with young poker pro Annette Obrestad, as she mentioned him in one of her interviews commenting his ego and saying that it would be easy to beat”him as a player. One of the latest comments of Brunson is: “Must be a bad time of the month for Annette what’s her name. By the way, I’m at Bobby’s Room almost every day if she really wants to play.” One thing he is right – it is better for both of them to come back to the game rather than to air their dirty washing on public. Van Der Sloot is afraid of being murdered in Peru Prison.
Recently arrested Joran Van Der Sloot has confessed to the killing of a young college student Stephany Flores in Lima, Peru, at the hotel room registered under his name. Let us remind that Van Der Sloot was attending LAPT at the time of murder. He is being questioned about disappearance of Nathalie Holloway in exchange of his serving time in an Aruba prison. Awful fact is that for the trip to LAPT he took money from Nathalie Holloway’s mother – promising to lead her to daughter’s body. Instead of it, he took $25,000 and escaped to Lima. At the moment authorities have placed him in an isolated jail cell – for his own safety – upon his own request, as he is very afraid of being killed or raped. High-security Miguel Castro prison is one of the most notorious prisons in South Africa with inhumane conditions. News from the WSOP 2010.
