Organizers of the World Series of Poker see that the attendance of this fascinating event is exceeding all optimistic expectations in spite of such negative factors as economic problems. Last year the WSOP in Las Vegas has been attended by 61000 players. Based on the results of the early events, these totals hopefully will be exceeded this year. First 3 $10000 buy-in events drew 5% more players this year, and Event 17 – $5000 No Limit Hold’ em attracted 792 players, which is increase of more than 20%. At the moment authorities have placed him in an isolated jail cell – for his own safety – upon his own request, as he is very afraid of being killed or raped.
